FIRST PERSON ON THE SCENE The Edexcel Level 2 BTEC Award IHCD First Person on Scene (FPOS) is a nationally recognised qualification, suitable for those involved in providing initial emergency care. It is also ideal for First Aid trainers who wish to develop their basic life support skills. We provide this course at all levels: BASIC INTERMEDIATE ENHANCED (with clinical placement - coming soon 2014)

TACTICAL COMBAT CASUALTY CARE TCCC principles are now determined by physicians and combat medical personnel working as a team. In the past, the failure of these two groups to communicate well slowed the implementation of critical trauma care measures. Although TCCC started in Special Ops, it is now used by all services in the U.S. military, conventional as well as Special Ops. It has proved dramatically successful in the Global War on Terrorism. TCCC has been a major factor in U.S. forces.

GERIATRIC EDUCATION for EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES The aged in society today is greater than ever before, and growing faster than any other segment of our population. Current indications are that approximately 34% of calls for emergency medical services, or 3.4 million emergency responses involve patients over the age of 60. GEMS represents the most credible and complete source of pre-hospital medical information for older adults. Course is provided at Basic & Advanced levels.
